My Story

Let me introduce myself, my name is Billy Lush and I am primarily an actor by trade (click here to see me on IMDB ) and I also have always loved to bake!

Because I am an actor I have a lot of free time on my hand (there are very few fully employed actors in the world!). Back in 2012 I started baking sourdough to keep busy in between jobs. Slowly I started to become known as “The Bread Guy” amongst friends and colleagues.

I had always daydreamed about opening up a bakery but I always had an excuse why it wouldn’t work. Then COVID hit, the world shut down and I had zero excuses! So I did some research, heard about Cottage Bakery Licenses (so you can legally sell out of your home) and I started Billy Bread in September of 2020!

It has been quite the journey so far but it has been a ton of fun and its been amazing engaging and feeling a part of my community!

Billy Bread is fresh artisanal bread baked just for you. Sourdough is a fermented product with tons of nutritional benefits that ordinary store bought bread is lacking. The only preservative used is salt.
